On February 24th, 2022, Russia invaded Ukraine, leaving citizens fearing for their lives and forced to flee. There is mass devastation and trauma for people in Ukraine as the Russian military continues to attack, as well as great uncertainty and deep distress in the UK as we watch events unfold.
The UK government has made a statement, in which they plead to ensure the security and defence of all allies and to protect European stability.
The threat to security is inescapable for the citizens directly affected. And the impact, although diluted, still stretches far and wide around the world. These are turbulent times. If you’re struggling right now, know that you’re not alone. We understand the emotional and mental distress that you might be experiencing watching these events unfold—and we are here to support you.
