Our occupational consultants look after confidential and sensitive data information, work with clients to give them effective solutions, and ensure clinical governance is being adhered to.

Types of Counsellor
Wellbeing Counsellor
Wellbeing Counsellors are based in our Manchester, Dublin or Hinckley offices with hybrid working* and are at the heart of what we do. They answer calls, respond on our live chat feature and use a Solution Focused Philosophy for all cases.
• Minimum level 4 qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy.
• Membership with accreditation eligibility to the BACP or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience post-qualification.
• Minimum 150 hours’ post-qualification experience with adults.
• Demonstrable experience working with clients on the telephone.
• Experience working with clients short-term and able demonstrate the application of solution-focussed work.
• Minimum 1.5 hours clinical supervision per month throughout all counselling practice in line with BACP recommendations.
• DBS and clinical qualification verification.
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous CPD (30 hours in line with BACP)
The digital team are are office-based in our Manchester office with hybrid roles available.

Types of Counsellor
Affiliate Counsellor
Affiliate Counsellors are independently operating counsellors based all around the UK and Ireland. Using the same approach as our Wellbeing Counsellors, Affiliate Counsellors must hold the following:
• Membership and/or accreditation eligibility to the BACP or equivalent.
• Qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy.
Established and running for 4 years post qualification including:
• 450 hours of counselling training (100 hours of skill development)
• 150 hours of theory.
• 450 hours of supervised counselling practice including training.
• Private client time of min. 40 hours and 5 clients in the past year.
• Agreed formal arrangement for counselling supervision.
• Access to suitable therapy rooms in line with BACP guidance & HA Wisdom Wellbeing's premises checks.
• Indemnity Insurance minimum value of £1,000,000,
• Enhanced DBS or equivalent 3 years within date.
• ICO Registration.
