Occupational Health Assessments
Exclusively available to existing EAP clients – discover how our Occupational Health Assessments can support employee health and legal compliance with employment laws such as the Equality Act 2010 and Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
What Is an Occupational Health Assessment?
An occupational health assessment occurs when an employee returns to work after an extended period of absence, or in situations where an employee’s health (physical and/or mental) is affecting their work.
Occupational health at work is crucial for staff to work safely. Around 1.7 million workers suffered from a work-related illness in 2023/24, with stress, depression, and anxiety being the most common, followed by musculoskeletal disorders. These issues can cause increased absences at work – affecting your bottom line.

With access to Occupational Health assessments, you can accommodate the needs of an employee and mitigate increased absences and its associated costs to your business. We will make recommendations regarding reasonable adjustments if we think the Equality Act may apply.
