Health Assured achieves BACP accreditation
Health Assured has received full accreditation from the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).
As part of the application process the assessor especially noted Health Assured’s new provision for training affiliate staff in dealing with potentially dangerous and violent situations, an example of good practice which could usefully be copied by other counselling services.
BACP’s primary purpose is to support counsellors and help them better serve their clients. The Association was formed nearly 40 years ago by a group of counsellors who were passionate about the value of counselling and its potential to improve the lives of individuals and communities.
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to all the counsellors for helping to make organisational accreditation a possibility. This is a great achievement and something we should be incredibly proud of” Nicola Jones, Counselling Manager
Health Assured hopes to demonstrate this passion and commitment, and the knowledge that counselling changes lives, at the heart of everything we do.
By obtaining the BACP accreditation, we have demonstrated to our clients Health Assured’s desire to operate in accordance with the industries best practice, continuing to offer the highest calibre of counselling and support for our clients.
